I have been confused lately and not being sure if I’m a Christian or not. But in the end, I think we all try to explain the same thing and I feel like my interpreted version of Christianity is just as valid as any other interpretation of this faith. There’s no other religion I would rather be doing or believing… So I have started to read my Bible again. I have many Bibles hehe. Especially Journaling Bibles – Bibles you can write or doodle in the margins or in blank pages within the pages alongside scripture – because I have so much to say (or draw) about Gods inspired word!

That’s also ultimately what differs me from fundamentalist Christians. I think the Bible is holy but it’s after all written by humans and with space for the misunderstandings that can cause, I interpret the Bible as inspired by God and I read it more metaphorically and with a lot of symbolism. Rarely I read it literally, if it’s not verses that are more historical.

After all my studies and research of the Bible I find it to be the correct way to read it… But each to their own…

I started a One Year Bible plan on YouVersion’s Bible app this year (2025). But I don’t want to read the entire Bible in a year, that’s too stressful, so I will read the New Testament in one year with the reading plan from The Bible Project. Next year I will focus on the Old Testament. So I will, if everything goes the way I want, read the entire Bible in two years!

Today’s Bible study:

Reading through Matthew 2. I will also read 3 and 4 today.

My English and Swedish versions next to each other.

I also have started my studies in philosophy again for this year after having some break during the holiday. I’m specializing in metaphysical science, philosophy of religion and biblical studies. Right now I study on two online universities, one in eclectic metaphysics (which also includes a lot of religion in philosophy) and one in biblical philosophy studies.

I also found a lot of my old Bible journal entries in my Bible from when I went to church more (sadly it was not the right church for me and they weren’t that nice). Here are some samples:

Since I’m multilingual I write in mostly Swedish AND English in all my Bibles no matter of which languages or translations. Please excuse if it looks messy hehe.

Here are also samples of prayer journals I’ve had. I like to pray in scrapbooking-style pages with colors, patterns and even abstract shapes:

This is also so fun to look back at!
